Every package includes a full decontamination wash, clay bar and paint correction before the coating goes on. The difference between tiers is how many correction stages the paint gets and how many layers of 9H go over it. Prices below are for most sedans and compact SUVs, with larger vehicles quoted on inspection.

WHY THE LIGHT TUNNEL
You Can't Fix What You Can't See
Swirl marks hide in normal shop lighting and jump out in direct sun. Coating a car without correcting it first locks those swirls under 9H for the next 5 years, which is why some coated cars look worse in sunlight than they did before.
We inspect every panel under dedicated lighting before a drop of coating goes on, and again after correction to confirm the swirls are actually gone. If the paint needs a stage more than you paid for, we tell you before we start rather than coating over the problem.
Aftercare
Keeping the Gloss
Ceramic coating makes a car far easier to wash, not self cleaning. Give it 7 days to fully cure before the first wash and keep it out of the rain for the first 48 hours if you can. After that, follow the 3 rules below and the coating holds its gloss and water behaviour for the full term.

Wash
Two bucket hand wash with pH neutral soap. Never automatic brushes.

DRY
Plush microfibre towels or a blower. Never a chamois or squeegee.

TOP UP
A maintenance wash with us each spring pulls winter salt out of the coating.

HOW LONG DOES CERAMIC COATING LAST?
Royal Silver runs 3 years, Royal Gold 5 years and Royal Platinum 10. That is the coating, not a wax that fades after a season. What shortens it is automatic car washes and harsh chemicals, so a coated car still needs proper washing to see the full term.
IS CERAMIC COATING THE SAME AS PAINT PROTECTION FILM?
No. Ceramic coating is a chemical layer that adds gloss, repels water and makes washing easier. Paint protection film is a physical urethane layer that takes stone chips instead of your paint. Coating preserves, film protects. On most daily drivers we film the front end and coat the rest.
WHY DOES THE PAINT NEED CORRECTING FIRST?
Because the coating seals in whatever is underneath it. Swirls, bonded contamination and water spots all get locked under 9H for the life of the coating, and the only way out is to strip it and start again. The correction stages in each package exist for that reason.
WILL CERAMIC COATING STOP SCRATCHES AND STONE CHIPS?
It resists light marring and makes the surface harder to scratch during washing, but it will not stop a stone at highway speed. If chip protection is what you want, paint protection film is the answer and the 2 work well together.
CAN YOU COAT WHEELS, GLASS AND INTERIOR?
Yes. Royal Gold and Royal Platinum include the windshield and rim faces. Interior ceramic coating for leather, fabric and trim adds $249 to any package and is worth it on light interiors that stain easily.
HOW LONG WILL MY CAR BE IN THE SHOP?
Royal Silver is 1 to 2 days, Royal Gold around 2 and Royal Platinum 2 to 3. Coating needs curing time before the car goes out in the wet, so we do not hand a car back early just to clear the bay.
