These terms apply to the use of this website and to services provided by Royal GTA Auto at 77 Martin Ross Avenue, North York, Ontario. By using this website or booking work with us, you agree to these terms. Please read them before making a booking. If anything is unclear, call the shop on 416 848 8798 and ask.

About Us

Royal GTA Auto is an automotive protection, appearance, mechanical and collision repair business operating from North York, Ontario. References to we, us and our in these terms mean Royal GTA Auto. References to you and your mean the person using this website or having work carried out on a vehicle.

Quotes and Pricing

Prices shown on this website are starting prices for typical vehicles and are provided as a guide only. Final pricing depends on vehicle size, condition, coverage and the parts required, and is confirmed in a written quote before work begins.

A quote is valid for 30 days unless stated otherwise, and may be revised if the condition of the vehicle differs from what was described or if additional work is found once the vehicle is inspected. We will contact you for approval before carrying out any work beyond what was quoted.

Bookings and Cancellations

Bookings are confirmed once a date has been agreed with you. We ask that you give us reasonable notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, so the bay can be offered to another customer.

Where a deposit has been taken to order parts or materials specific to your vehicle, that deposit may not be refundable if the parts have already been ordered. We will tell you at the time of booking whether a deposit applies and what happens to it.

Vehicle Drop Off and Collection

Please remove all personal belongings and valuables from your vehicle before leaving it with us. We are not responsible for loss or damage to items left inside a vehicle.

We photograph and inspect every vehicle with you at drop off and record its condition. Vehicles must be collected within a reasonable period after we notify you that the work is complete. Storage charges may apply to vehicles left beyond that period, and we will tell you before any charge is applied.

Work Carried Out

We carry out work to a professional standard using quality products and materials. Some outcomes depend on the condition of the vehicle when it arrives. Paint that has previously been resprayed, panels with existing rust, damaged clear coat, aged trim and prior poor quality work by others can all affect the result.

We will tell you before starting if we believe the condition of the vehicle will limit what can be achieved. We are not responsible for pre-existing faults, damage or defects that become apparent during or after the work.

Warranties

Paint protection film installed by us carries a manufacturer backed warranty against defects in the film. Ceramic coatings carry a warranty for the term stated in the package you select.

Warranties cover defects in the product and in our workmanship. They do not cover:

• Damage caused by impact, accident or misuse
• Damage caused by automatic car washes or pressure washing directly into edges
• Damage caused by harsh or acidic chemicals
• Failure to follow the aftercare guidance we provide

Warranty terms are provided in writing when the work is completed and require the vehicle to be registered with the manufacturer where applicable.

Payment

Payment is due on collection of the vehicle unless other terms have been agreed in writing in advance. We accept cash, debit, credit and cryptocurrency including Bitcoin, Ethereum, USDT and BNB.

Where cryptocurrency is used, the amount payable is calculated at the exchange rate at the time of payment. We reserve the right to retain a vehicle until payment has been made in full, in accordance with Ontario law.

Insurance and Collision Work

Where collision repair is being carried out under an insurance claim, the final scope and cost are subject to approval by your insurer. You remain responsible for any deductible and for any amount your insurer does not cover.

You are entitled to choose your own repair facility regardless of any recommendation made by your insurer. We will deal with your insurer directly where you authorise us to do so, but we cannot control the timelines, decisions or payment terms set by them.

Liability

To the extent permitted by law, our liability for any claim relating to work carried out is limited to the amount paid for that work. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including loss of use of the vehicle, loss of income, or costs of alternative transport. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited under Ontario or Canadian law.

These terms are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in it. Any dispute arising from these terms or from work carried out by us is subject to the jurisdiction of the courts of Ontario.
