VINYL WRAPS
Vinyl Wraps in North York
We wrap cars in cast vinyl for full colour changes, satin and matte conversions, chrome deletes and commercial fleet branding. Every edge is wrapped and the door jambs are done, so it reads as paint rather than a sticker. Your factory finish stays untouched underneath. Full wraps start at $2899.

WHY CAST FILM
Cheap Vinyl Is Cheap For a Reason
There are 2 kinds of wrap film. Calendared vinyl is thicker, stiffer and cheaper, and it shrinks back over time, so edges lift and the film cracks around curves after a couple of Ontario winters. Getting it off is a long, expensive job.
We only use cast vinyl. It is thinner, conforms to complex panels without stress, and stays dimensionally stable for years. More importantly it comes off clean with heat when you want your original colour back, which is the entire reason most people choose a wrap over a respray.
Aftercare
Keeping the Finish
A wrap is more delicate than paint, particularly at the edges and on matte and satin films where you cannot polish out a mark. Give it 7 days before the first wash so the adhesive fully bonds, then follow the 3 rules below and a good wrap will hold its colour and finish for years.
01
Wash
Hand wash only. Automatic brushes catch edges and lift them straight off.
02
PARK
Shade where you can. Constant UV fades wrap film faster than it fades paint.
03
SPILLS
Fuel, bird mess and tree sap come off now, not next week. They stain vinyl.

HOW LONG DOES CERAMIC COATING LAST?
A cast vinyl wrap that is hand washed and parked out of constant sun holds up for around 5 to 7 years. Horizontal panels like the roof and hood take the most UV and always go first. Cheap calendared film on the same car can start lifting inside 2 years.
WILL A WRAP DAMAGE MY FACTORY PAINT?
No, as long as the paint is sound underneath. We remove wraps with heat rather than blades and the original finish comes away clean. Panels that have already been resprayed badly or where the clear coat is lifting can come away with the film, so we inspect and tell you before we start.
CAN YOU WRAP OVER CHIPS, SCRATCHES OR RUST?
Vinyl shows whatever is under it, so a chip or a dent reads straight through the film. Rust keeps spreading underneath and will push the wrap off. We look at the panels first and tell you honestly what needs sorting before the film goes on.
WILL CERAMIC COATING STOP SCRATCHES AND STONE CHIPS?
It resists light marring and makes the surface harder to scratch during washing, but it will not stop a stone at highway speed. If chip protection is what you want, paint protection film is the answer and the 2 work well together.
DO I HAVE TO TELL MY INSURER OR THE MINISTRY?
A colour change is a change to your vehicle’s registered details in Ontario, so it should be updated. Most insurers want to know as well. It is a quick call either way and we can give you the exact film colour and finish for the paperwork.
CAN YOU CERAMIC COAT A WRAP?
Yes, and on a matte or satin wrap it is worth doing. Coating makes the surface slicker, stops fuel and bird mess staining the film, and lets you wash the car without scrubbing. We can coat a wrap in the same visit it goes on.
